- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 scoop 30g chocolate protein powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup pumpkin purée
- 1/3 cup almond butter
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350°F and line 8x8 inch pan with parchment paper
Whisk together all dry ingredients in a large bowl
Mix pumpkin purée, almond butter, and maple syrup until smooth
Beat in eggs and vanilla extract until combined
Fold wet ingredients into dry ingredients until just combined
Fold in chocolate chips and spread batter in prepared pan
Bake 22-25 minutes until toothpick comes out with moist crumbs
Cool completely before cutting into 16 squares
