- ½ cup light brown sugar
- 2 medium apples sliced
- 1 cup cranberries
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ½ cup cornmeal
- 1½ tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp baking soda
- ¼ tsp salt
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- ½ cup unsalted butter softened
- ¾ cup sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ cup sour cream
- ¼ cup milk
Preheat oven to 350°F and prepare pan.
Make caramel topping and pour into pan.
Layer apples and cranberries over caramel.
Whisk dry ingredients together.
Cream butter and sugar; add eggs and vanilla.
Mix wet and dry ingredients, then pour batter over fruit.
