Ingredients
  

  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • ½ cup light brown sugar
  • 2 medium apples sliced
  • 1 cup cranberries
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup cornmeal
  • tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • ½ cup unsalted butter softened
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ¼ cup milk

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F and prepare pan.
  • Make caramel topping and pour into pan.
  • Layer apples and cranberries over caramel.
  • Whisk dry ingredients together.
  • Cream butter and sugar; add eggs and vanilla.
  • Mix wet and dry ingredients, then pour batter over fruit.
  • Bake 45–50 minutes until golden.
  • Cool 10 minutes, invert, and serve warm.
